As a business professional, you will often be asked to create reports and present their findings. Unfortunately, good report writing and presentation preparation skills are usually learned "on-the-fly" through "trial-and-error". If you're looking to improve these skills, then this course is for you.

Business Writing II is a 6-week online business writing course designed to teach you how to write concise formal and informal reports and presentations. You'll learn basic writing techniques such as how to use an active voice, how to apply the 6 C's of writing, how to avoid using jargon or offensive phrases and how to write with a YOU attitude! You'll also learn about common report and presentation formats. You'll practice what you've learned in three assignments. In assignment one, you will produce an informal report. In assignment two, you will write a formal report. And in assignment three, you will produce a presentation based on one of your reports.
