Do you need to know how to plan a help system project? Do you understand the difference between writing online help and traditional technical documentation? Would you like to add online help to your list of writing and design skills? If so, then this course is for you!

Online Help System Design is an 8-week online course that will teach you how to design online help systems. The course provides you with an overall understanding of the online help design process and a detailed understanding of the skills and tasks performed at each phase of the process. There are three assignments in this course. Each assignment builds on the other so that by the end of the course, you will have built a small functioning help system using Microsoft's HTML Help Workshop.
