JavaScript for Web Designers is designed for people with no previous background in JavaScript or programming. This course provides a hands-on introduction to JavaScript. It is a 6-week online course that covers the major aspects of JavaScript including browser events, dialog boxes, forms, and much more.

After completing the course, you will have an intermediate understanding of how to add interactivity to your web pages by using JavaScript. During the course, you will complete many exercises that will provide you with the skills to be able to use JavaScript. Some examples of the exercises in the course include:
- Creating drop-down menu links
- Validating and manipulating forms
- Creating image slideshows
- Implementing image rollovers

Robert Madsen is the instructor for this course. Robert has an extensive amount of experience in information technology and has been in the data processing profession since 1980. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from California State University Bakersfield in California. Over the years, Robert has worked with a great variety of computer systems and programming languages.
