E-learning has become an attractive training option for many companies. But what does it take to make an online course effective? What are the key differences between online and traditional education? What are the best delivery methods?
E-learning Course Design is an 8-week online course that walks you through the complete course development life cycle for an online course. The course shows you how to use instructional design methods in the design of your online course. Instructional design is a process that uses established learning theories to plan, design, and develop course materials.
During this course, you’ll learn how to:
- Create a course outline
- Write learning outcomes
- Structure, write and design lesson materials for online presentation
- Write quizzes and assignments
- Deliver and evaluate online courses
In the assignments, you’ll get the opportunity to actually plan a real course, create a lesson in your course, and then test the course.
