Do you need to know how to plan a help system project? Do you understand the difference between writing online help and traditional technical documentation? Would you like to add online help to your list of writing and design skills? If you answered yes, then this course is for you!
Online Help System Design is an 8-week online course that will teach you how to design online help systems. The course provides you with an overall understanding of the online help design process and a detailed understanding of the skills and tasks performed at each phase of the process. There are three assignments in this course. Each assignment builds on the other so that by the end of the course, you will have built a small functioning online help system.
About the Instructor
The instructor will guide you throughout the course by providing one-to-one mentoring. During the course, the instructor will answer your questions by email and provide you with feedback on your assignments.
Susan Bodnik is the author and instructor of this course. She has over 18 years of experience in teaching and developing online courses. Susan holds a degree in English from the University of Waterloo with a specialized focus on communications, rhetoric, and online learning.
